The only way I can get it to start is by planting a 100W light bulb on the air intake heater housing for 1-2 hours. Obviously , the electric air intake heater is not working (despite the "glow plug" light on the dash lighting up for 10 seconds, which it does). The housing does NOT heat up. When I unplugged the control wires from the solenoid it didn't like it at all and threw 2 or 3 codes. My truck: 06 5.9 6-speed 2/28/09-470hp/980tq Sold and missed.

Pulled the power lead from the heater and reset power loop with ~12V showing for the circuit to the heater without heater in the loop. So, it seems the heater itself is toasted out.
