I was always told gigas are definite spawns on resets and we have seen gigas spawn randomly after the reset but as u may know they glitch out after a while. 1.Weird no one has pointed it out yet. Gigas and charchars share the same spawns. So you have to kill/tame the current charchars for gigas to spawn. Then again you might get unlucky and another charchar spawns, eventually though you'll he a giga.

To make sure the command can show wild tames I tried on dodos, I have 0 dodos, it found 216 results. So ye my dinos are completely bugged, 0 Quetz, 0 Carcha, 0 giga on entire maps for many hours. #2. Gigas are just super rare on the island. I only ever saw two there and that's with hundreds of hours of playtime and massively boosted dino spawn rates.
