The ability to travel between campfires is in the DLC.the map isn't anything special but what you can get from it is what makes it worth it. as well as camp travel you also get the enhanced seed bag which allows you to plant in 3 x 3 squares as well as able to grow mana beads and faster planting too a must for doing the ARK. there's also quite a few mana chunks and shards to find.
