They told me it’s totally normal to be up to 2cm in the entire 3rd trimester. It wasn’t a concern because the dilation stayed the same and my water didn’t break.

Hard to say. With my first I was 4cm dilated and 80%effaced for 2 weeks. With this little guy I just had I was 2cm 60% at 36 week and 3cm60% at 37weeks 3days. And my water broke at 38w2d with no contractions prior and he was born an hour and half later.
