Then need to test pulsor coil output voltage to CDI. Try to switch the two coils, if it don't spark on 2-3 then likely a defective coil pack. Did that and still no spark on 1-4 bought a new coil thinking that it was the coil. Where is the cdi located on a df115.And can i use a multi-meter to check the voltage on it.
Check the fuses first, then follow the hot wire back to figure out where it lost juice. I assume you did check that the coil does not have power rather than just noticing that it doesn't have spark, because there's a big difference there between the two. Even though the battery cable supplied power to the starter ,you may not have power to the main system.power goes from there thru the circuit breaker and to the engine harness plug.This is effectively a gate.
