Save. Fuengirola is a large working town with most of the bars and restaurants open year round. Torremolinos town centre is your place, lots of gay bars and clubs in the Nogalera centre just by Torremolinos station (you can get the train from Fuengirola or Los Boliches ). Not much gets going before midnight although some places are open from 8pm, many places open until 8am.
OK I am going to suggest exploring the Los Boliches area of Fuengirola. Assuming you will be on the M120 I suggest getting of at the stop Rotonda del 600 2426, this is just past the roundabout with a 'grass' covered Fiat 600 in the middle of it.
