This game is based around Lucky shots and crits, swords being unable to crit makes them useless. Also being in melee range when almost every enemy can one shot you in later stages is just not worth it. Yeah they are pretty meh after act 1. Not being able to crit is rough and they are almost unusable on most bosses.I really love Tao, but kinda hate how RNG dependent she can be and how extremely limited her weapon choices are. At the end of the day, theres only 3 weapons that she ever wants.
