Orbi rbr50 current firmware version.
Oct 18, 2022 · I have tried 9 different firmware versions starting with the one right after the version I have then moving sequentially one version at a time forward. Am I doing something wrong? I am on a mac. I download the zip. I extract the zip and upload the .img file. And then upload it here (see below). Am I missing some basic action??

That is correct. The Orbi had been working fine - and the firmware update checks used to work OK. After various other problems I had with the router, I ended up needing to install specific firmware versions manually.

I saw that 2.7.3.22 is currently available for my RBR50 and although I NEVER upgrade to the most recent software version as soon as it is released, the update notification did make me think about whether I should upgrade what I have to a stable, well tested version.
