Very long wait time for shipping. Back on September 20, 2021 I ordered an upgrade to my phone - going from an iPhone 8+ to an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I was not told of any order delays before committing myself to the order. Once my order was complete, it was given a shipping date of November 8-15. That is a lag time of 7 to 8 weeks.

Demand this year seems much higher than last year though. The Pro and Pro Max delivery date started slipping much faster than the last couple of years IIRC. In store pickup also disappeared faster.
