All of the dimensions on the weapon are called out in inch measurements. The magazines don't readily and reliably interchange between the two. On the FN made StG 58 and the G-1, the rake doesn't aligns perfectly with the non-humpback stock. It is believed that the first 20,000 or so StG 58s were made by FN.
