Feb 23, 2022 · After the pattern has been unlocked for the Edge of Action Glaive, players can craft the Exotic weapon in the Enclave on Mars, so long as they have the necessary materials. While most of the materials are relatively easy to get in Destiny 2, players will need a couple of Exotic items called Ascendant Alloy before the Edge of Action can be built.
I'm pretty sure they stated that you'll be able to just buy the other exotic glaive patterns once you get your first, but I forget when it's supposed to happen. You have to craft the exotic glaives.RNG means you could get 5 exotics in a row or run 30+ without one, and on an infinite timescale it all evens out. There was someone that did a bunch of Lost Sector runs and it seems that Legend lost sectors have a 25% chance while Master lost sectors have a 33.33% chance. If you stop you won't ever get it. Its rng.
Bungie already increased the drop rates for red border ... the quest for crafting class-based Exotic Glaives will require only one portion of each Weapon Pattern from the Wellspring weapons and each daily Wellspring weapon will have Deepsight. Yesterday I completed the exotic glaive quest on my Warlock to get the Warlock exotic glaive. The other two are from Wellspring, but do I have to play on my hunter to get the hunter pattern, and similar for my Titan? Or can I keep playing my Warlock and they will drop either way? Please advise. The pattern doesn't drop randomly from wellspring, to get it you have to fully complete all of the evidence board quests at the enclave until you get the last one, called REVERSE-LURE. After completing that it should just give you the exotic pattern. After acquiring your first exotic Glaive Pattern through the Report: Reverse-Lure quest, the other two exotic Glaive Patterns will be acquirable by completing the Wellspring activity, and the drops seem to be very random and rare, so be prepared to play a bunch more of Wellspring, that is, if you really want all three exotic Glaives.Once completed, you return to the Evidence Board and receive the Weapon Pattern to craft the exotic glaive. Subsequent exotic glaives drop randomly from The Wellspring activity. My advice is to multitask in this activity by using it to complete Savathun's Throne World bounties, Gunsmith bounties, and working on Exotic Catalysts.The simpler explanation is that it is a very rare drop (more rare than raid weapons in my experience), but it does surprise me a little bit that Bungie would make the drop rate that rare for an exotic weapon tied to such a repetitive activity.Comments. There is some good perks in those glaves but nothing big enough to use them over ofher exotics or in specific endgames. It took me to this season to get the last of 3 to drop. They "are" dropping. Just extremely rare. Probably ran it 30-40 times today and finally got the pattern for my WL. Finished it on my Hunter last night. The only issue is... even though I have the pattern and have unlocked the pattern in the Pattern's and Catalysts tab... I still cannot craft the Glaive for my WL.

I have completed the patterns for Raconteur, Royal Executioner, and Regnant, but I still need 1 pattern for Perpetualis, 2 patterns for Prodigal Return, and 1 pattern for Caretaker.
