Good place to go for a concert but the parking is seriously jacked up!! If you don't arrive SUPER early to claim your free parking, you'll be driving around for an hour in an endless cluster f** of parking round-around hell while the police officers working the gates continually wave you past the general admission entrances claiming they're all "full" even though you can see plenty of open ... First, kudos to Dallas for convincing people to pay money so that you can try to find a square of grass to put their chair (only of certain size)/blanket (or rent them for $20 each) in August (or pick your month). I recently visited Dos Equis to see Jimmy Buffett. I bought the VIP package which included the VIP lounge, tailgate, and separate entrance and bathrooms. It was WELL worth the extra money. Security was fantastic. They had three layers: Buffett's security close to the stage, Pavilion security and then an outside company.
