The slide extends about a half-inch in front of the grip, but I like the look of it. Having said that I believe the 320RX variants are being discontinued in favor of the X line.Considering the P320 Compact (not X-Compact) vs the P320 X-Carry, I believe the slide/barrel assembly is the same length. Remember also that there are two versions of the X-Carry!
