Watched a couple vids with the owner simply pushing the back of the slide with their thumb. Tried that, tried yanking on it, tried begging, pleading, offering my first ...Yes, I feel I have had some experience with semi-auto guns. I also have a Ruger SR9 (which I think has a stronger recoil spring than the SR9c) and a Ruger LCP (which I replaced the 9# recoil springs with 11# recoil springs). I kinda think if I can lock the slide open on these two, I should be able to do it on the SR9c. No offense taken.
