I've always wanted that amp since I tried one in the local guitar store in "96. (I know the CS badge doesn't mean much sonically but it adds to the rarity and is a nice bonus).

The FoxRox Aquavibe on the Captain Coconut really impressed me. So, I'm sure that the stand alone Aqua is the same.

To be fair, I've only played the MXR in a loud room and I own Tim,Timmy V2 and Timmy V3. I like the Tim best, and the V3 second best-it's smoother in high gain mode and pretty spot on to the original in low gain mode. The MXR sounded the same, but not quite as smooth or as flexible. A 57/62 and a PV 65 set or something in that line but...the stock pickups sound really good! i mean, i cant complaint about anything.
