Starfield has native ultrawide support and looks good, no elements stretched/misaligned/cut off. They're completely capable of proper ultrawide support and have been since at least 2006. Every game they have released without or with poor ultrawide support, that was a choice on their part, not a lack of ability.

I use comprehensive ultrawide mod with the necessary ini changes. Though I do believe CUW has been removed or hidden now. And I haven't tried any other solutions myself, but I can't imagine they're much different. I recently reinstall fallout 4 in a new folder and re-instate my mods and profiles. Everything seem to be working fine, I am able to load my old save and have my old mods working. Except, truby9 ultrawide fix is no longer working for me.
