For me, and some others, the cheek weld on Tikkas is way too low and requires a riser or comb of some sort. If you are a reloader, Tikka actions can allow you to load heavy for caliber bullets and eke out a touch more powder capacity.

I notice no difference in accuracy with the mcmillan and I actually prefer the fit and feel of the tikka factory stock a bit more. Weighing in at 7.45 lbs on my scale, the Mesa weighs a little more than the advertised 7.3 lbs. I would have liked to see it in the 6 to 6.5 lb range.
