Questions about the extended helicopter event mod. Question. So my bf and I have recently added the mod to a multiplayer server. Question is -- how do you find the drops? We have scavenged the approximate area from the heli alert sign but found nothing. 2 crate drops were basically lost. So, in the end, there are 3 questions: If the heli spot you outdoor it will try to follow you even if you go indoor immediately. The heli will keep hover around and bring a party to you. 2 ways to counter heli event. U either prepare a vehicle with some food and drink and slowly drive away from town and stay at outskirt for a night once heli spot you outside. Or.

Even though the heli cannot be seen, it has a 'location' in the world. And as long as the heli is active, it is drawing zombies towards its location from far and wide. So while the heli is zooming around the cell you're in, that cell can easily be overrun with zombies because of it. Sometimes the heli ends its 'hunt' far away from you, after ... The single best result you can get from the event is using it to draw the zombies into the countryside and away from a town you’d like to loot.
