Peace clerics are nice, but they, in a way, like Celestial Warlocks. Celestial was released in the same book as Hexblade and so didn't receive that much attention, while it was really good. So a peace domain with bless and a paladin basically breaks encounter math at most levels and our group consequently never failed a saving throw. The DM spent most of the oneshot trying to break the Peace domains concentration or drag people out of the bond range (which is protected by the even more ridiculous lvl 6 feature).

The way I implemented it all was to create a feature with a passive effect for each player. I add the feature to every player, deleting the passive effect for themselves. This way when the cleric picks the players that have the bond those players turn on the passive effect that names the players they are attached to.
