Im trying to get faithful cartographer. I was in Milton mapping Paradise Meadows Farm and the Milton Basin but it wouldnt map it. The map is colored in and showing the area around it but the names arent popping up on the map and the map list still says its unmapped.

As far as I can tell, you can't return to Milton anyways, so no need for a safehouse. Leave while you still have some condition left on your axe, and hopefully you find a whetstone early in the next map. There's another hatchet in the barn at Paradise Meadows farm.
