Same here. Started around Nov 30. When I open xfinity stream app on my LG OLED 42, closed caption is defaulted on. I have to turn it off, but same problem each time I open the app. It's ONLY Xfinity Stream App. All other apps such as peacock, Netflix, Max don't have this issue.Comcast/Xfinity support… You need to fix this sooner than later as I have multiple options for TV i.e. FiOS, third-party streaming apps… Xfinity steam app is very slow to start and there is no way to turn off close captioning.
