Just finished installing a B14 R BR in a MDT XRS, added weight in 3 ways - spacer, forend insert and KRG heavy ARCA rail for a total of 7 lbs chassis only. Looks great and is very comfortable, but the rifle still insists on Lapua X Act unfortunately like it did in the OEM stock, and I also need to rescope it, the Zeiss Conquest V4 with finger ...KRG is more expensive for the Howa and more stock like. I think it may be a little lighter. Oryx is cheaper, traditional chassis setup. I have heard some guys trying to add weight to their Bravos for balance and recoil improvement. Oryx is newer so haven't heard as much feedback yet. I personally plan on going with the Oryx for my next two builds.

A full-on PRS chassis from MPA, KRG, or MDT will run somewhere between 4.5 lbs and 7 lbs out of the box.

Looking at these 3 for a for an older 700P. Im thinking Manners T5, stock pack has worked well for me. But the XRS looks well made and designed for a budget chassis. And of course the KRG is highly recommended here. Gun would be for bench shooting/random hunting. Should I even call the XRS and Bravo budget?

Both have adjustable combs but the MDT starts in a lower position. If you look at pictures of the KRG you'll see a cutout for bolt removal. MDT doesn't need this because of the lower comb. For me this means less cheek on the stock which is good from the bench.
