Around 9pm it MIGHT take awhile to get a parking spot and you'll wait have to walk a long distance, just to wait in a long line (depends on which lot you get sent to). Police is never an issue, just don't leave alcohol/narcotics out in the open. Shuttles were less than hour and easy to hop on. Definitely would do again. Airbnb and driving ourselves seemed to be a great choice for us, first time at EDC so haven't tried anything else. If you're camping, expect to hear music 24/7. It is literally a party from the moment it starts until stop.
