Tsung's ending just keep the "time madness" from MK11 going on. I think they would be missing a great opportunity to end an Arc and start another for new players to pick up from the beginning - they could write whatever they want, using any character they want.
Explosive corpses, shake and slide seems pretty good as well. I usually use slide, lift, and shake. Ground eruption is great but I like to keep shang closer for pressure. It depends on how you like to play. The “Best” is Ground Eruption with either Shake or Slide.
