The sun roof on my F-150 broke after the warranty period ended. The dealer quoted me over $700 to fix it. I took it to a small shop that installed after-factory sunroofs, and also was very busy fixing the POS Ford broken sunroofs. It’s all plastic gearing, just a garbage design for years.
