Best to talk to some private practice heme/onc folks directly. I've found that salary surveys are often misleading as they only capture a certain demographic and then only certain income streams of that demographic (won't include ancillary income from infusion centers and other things like that).I do think heme onc is paid very well and def has a much better lifestyle compared to cardio or pulmcc or gi.
