HCG levels actually are not indicative of a multiples pregnancy. Women with high HCG have singletons all the time and women with low HCG have multiples as well. Congrats on your pregnancy :)

So I got tested again this week at 5 weeks and based on my calculations if it doubled every 48 hrs it should have been around 2500. They called with my results and it was at almost 6000. Way more than doubled every 48 hrs. Now I'm thinking i might be pregnant with twins and ...I think they were 1000 at 5 weeks, with normal being 200-7100. I had very high betas with my singleton pregnancy, possibly due to having had a miscarriage immediately prior.
