Now I’m hearing rumors that the 718 GT4 production cycle is permanently ending, only previously allocated cars are being built and no more allocations will be offered. If this turns out to be true, I’m concerned that the pre owned GT4 prices are destined for the moon and if used is my only option, I’d like to get in one before that happens.

718 GTS 4.0 w/ PDK does 0-60 in an advertised 3.8s but measured at 3.6, 718 GT4 with PDK has 20hp more and presumably can be at least at 3.6, maybe 3.5 territory, especially if you did the easy shit like high-flow air filters and charcoal filter delete. Extra downforce isn't likely to slow you down all that much before 60 as well.
