Knock it out, give it kibble or prime meat or mutton. Best way to go about it is build a trap and lure the griffin into it via pteranodon. Then knock it out and feed kibble/prime meat/mutton. Make a stone gate trap (just like how you tame an argy) lure it in by shooting it with a tranq dart and close the doors to trap it.I would use the stone gateway trap method, where you run in, kite the griffin in, run out and shut the gate before it can get out. Dododex is good for info on taming things. For checking stats I use Smart Breeder. For griffins I highly recommend a longneck rifle and tranq darts. They do take quite a bit to knock out.
