Netflix keeps signing me out.

I signed up for a Netflix account through Xfinity TV. When putting in my email address, I subconsciously selected gmail.com but I didn't mean to use gmail. After I finished and tried to login on another device, I realized the mistake. I contacted Netflix support for help and they refused to help. Has anyone been through this? What are my options?
