Valve Cover Problems. Hello OdyClub. I have a 2008 Touring, 120,000 miles, and in the past year and a half and within 20,000 miles, the valve covers have been replaced twice. Both front and rear about a year and a half ago, and the front one in February of this year. However, I noticed a burning oil smell from inside the cabin today.
