Dexcom isn't designed to read blood sugar. If the bleeding is minor you likely just got really close to a vein, either having the tip of the insertion needle damage it slightly or creating enough trauma to the area to puncture a vein. If it clots quickly, bleeding in moderation, this should give really good readings for the sites life.
