The Ruger Precision in both its big and baby brothers does not seem to get much respect. Like.CZ 457 Varmint MTRs: Great option, but it leaves you less $ for an optic. Mine won't shoot Eley worth anything and every lot is at least 1130 FPS out of that 20.5" barrel. ... The Bergara B14r was my first choice, but it just doesn't shoot $400 better than the CZ, and the Tikka T1x only comes with a plastic stock. The CZ comes in a nice walnut stock, and also has a large aftermarket support for it. I got the Varmint series with a 20" heavy barrel.
