But on the other hand, I do not have the best rage runes o...The essence of tricaru is that it does an insane number of attacks via atb manipulation, before any enemy gets a chance to move. Each set of 4 moves adds potentially 4x40% = 160% atb. This keeps you ahead of the enemies, while the turn-cycling repeats. (Eventually, an enemy can move, via 7% gain each time someone moves.)

While it was feasible to do 10 without violent, 12 requires MUCH higher rune quality (or advanced monsters) to pull it off without violent. There is no question that if you aren't doing tricaru, an alt started today would still farm violent to get to nb12 quickly. All units take benefit from this particular rune set. For example, if you rune your 3x Icaru on 3x Guard, each will receive +45% def bonus; however having 6 Determination sets will yield +48% across all your team. The runes and artefacts are a bit underwhelming but the runs went very smooth and without any fail : which lead be to believe that Iunu can replace Belial and is F2P friendly. I'm sure that with better runes the average can get even better.

It's good but the ceiling for tricaru runes are so spicy I'm not sure. For reference you can have ATK or CD as a main stat alongside 9x fight runes. Ive tried to make sub min teams that wasnt tricaru, but it was really unstable. For sub 1min teams, they have to nuke the boss before it gets immunity, or have a strip with good ai so it actually strips when the immunity comes, which requires pretty crazy runes for db12. I honestly think tricaru is easier to build.
