Other than the P&C, they are similar, except the AVQ is a different in terms of the oiler and brakes. The Woodboss is an older version of the 028 - has an aluminum tank (instead of plastic) and has points instead of Electronic ignition. They are great saws, but make sure you get one with low mileage - they are after all 20-25 years old... The 028 Super mentioned earlier is a really nice saw, but very hard to find.
