This seriously isn't a shameless plug, but consider buying a complete matching wood set made for the P-grip config and then selling your complete matching factory set as a whole. They bring in a decent amount of money, making the wood stocked S-308 a very good deal from the factory.

after doing some more research on the zastava m76, i found out there where a few .308 m76 rifles imported at one time. also the m76 has been chambered in 3 main rnds from the factory. 8mm mauser, 7.62x51 (or .308 winchester it could handle both) and 7.62x54r. so a siaga .308 converted to an m76 lookalike isnt that far off from an original. it should be a fun ride.
