I just copy and paste the Radical Red GBA file with another name before restarting. Should be easy if you are on PC like me. Don't think it's as reliable but you can just quick save through the emulator then start a new game on a different quick save. Then you will have 2 games that you can switch between. Unbound is the game that most attempts to be a real Pokemon game, via a unique region, world-building, and story. IE and RR are mainly QOL and difficulty hacks foremost; little of the region is changed, and the latter especially has some harmless cringe fourth-wall breaks that may be distracting.
