I widened the opening of the hammer to 3/8" (.375), then drilled into it to a depth of about .4 inch with a diameter of.312. MK85 is probably correct. If you do not find the 209 conversion I do have a musket cap conversion for that rifle in the reloading room. I actually think I have a Musket cap and a percussion cap plunger. Yes the bolt does require a major tear down and cleaning after a range section. I have a Knight wolverine and it seems that I have lost my breach plug and thought this might be a good time to convert to purchase the conversion to 209 primers kit since I have to buy a new breach plug anyways. I did have a misfire lost year while hunting with 777 that had been in the barrel a couple of weeks.

It's an older one and I'm guessing it was built around 1997 or so, but it worked great. It was an inline with a number 11 percussion cap ignition originally, and I bought the conversion kit for it so I could shoot 209 primers.
