The 30 serves as a duty gun, carry gun and a field/woods gun. The LCP has its place, as a second gun or when a small, light gun is all you can carry. But the 30 gets carried almost continuously. The 9mm is not a bad cartridge. It offers lots of capacity and is cheap to shoot.Any tac light that works with a full size glock will work with a compact glock. Just keep in mind that since the overall length of the frame is shorter the tac light will stick out past the front of the frame, instead of staying underneath the frame. I carry 10+1 using the Glock 10-rnd mag equipped with Pearce +0 grip extension ( PG-30) and a spare 13-rnd G21 mag concealed in either a Safariland 123 or BlackArch horizontal mag holder on my belt for business attire or a SnagMag ™ carrier in a jeans pocket. My gal always runs the Glock 9-rnd mag with Pearce +0 grip extension ( PG-29 ).
The 30SF is the more comfortable 30 to shoot. I use it for practice, and as a woods gun loaded with heavy cast or Lehigh penetrators. Prefer the 30S with JHPs for carry. If the 30s were chambered in 9mm - and the 19/26 in .45 - I'd still prefer the 30s.
