Easy enough, but for anyone doing it, don’t take the shield with the housing. All you need to do are the two 13mm bolts at the back, top/side. You’ll understand when you look at it.

No codes, no other symptoms other than using 7 gallons of DEF in 2800 miles. Which seems excessive for not towing. Hold the brake add trottle and can hear loud hiss.The ECM uses the following criteria to perform a regeneration: Vehicle in Drive. BARO sensor 1 is more than 51 kPa (7.4 PSI) Engine speed between 500 and 4000 RPM. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 between 100 and 725 C. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2 between 95 and 750 C.I would never consider a LML after owning a L5P. $1500 to delete a Cummins or LML. $7,000 to delete an L5P. $3,000 to convert from a CP4 to CP3 on the LML. $700+ to level the GMC/Chevy compared to $100 to level the Ram. Personally, I would never consider long-term ownership of a modern diesel with emissions intact.

After being down for weeks I finally took off on another haul yesterday and almost made it 100 miles. Pulled over and shut the truck off. Came back out and all it would do is crank. No start. Also when coming to a stop slowing to a slow roll (about 5-10 mph) I step on the accelerator and the truck takes a solid 5-10 seconds to start responding.This will help you see the specific code when it happens and have the ability to clear it when needed. The filter on the 2019 L5D is the smaller filter just like the 2020 L5P and it takes 10 qts. as well. I assume dp is differential pressure sensor. Unsure if programming is needed for that. 2019 3500HD, Cclb, Drw, Deleted and Tuned, Wehrli turbo horn, intake, boost tubes, Banks idash, S&B map spacer, VSE fuel filtration, 5 inch exhaust.
